My name is Essi and I’m the owner of this fanlisting. To make an incredibly long and boring story short, I’m a 25-year-old girl from Finland. I’m a Bachelor of Culture and Arts who currently writes film reviews. I’ve been designing websites for over ten years, it’s a very dear hobby of mine.
I love movies, journalism, pop & media culture, House (the TV series), British comedy shows, London, travelling, Garfield and cats. I’m a huge admirer of Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Robert Downey Jr. and Conan O’Brien, to mention a few.

Sam rocks
I have come to a conclusion that Sam Rockwell is too talented and too cool for words. He’s a chameleon; just give him any role and he makes it unique and convincing. The films he appears in vary radically, and he’s still full of surprises. I also admire him for the fact that he doesn’t pursue fame or recognition, but lets his talent speak for itself.
Sam also has this strange kind of charm. At first he may look like a regular, next-door guy but soon you realize something’s a bit off. That sort of ambiguous, or even dangerous, charm is very appealing.
My favourite films from Sam are Moon, Matchstick Men, The Green Mile, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Confessions a Dangerous Mind and Frost/Nixon. I love his performances also in Iron Man 2, Welcome to Collinwood, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Charlie’s Angels, Galaxy Quest, bigLove, Robin’s Big Date, Heist, Lawn Dogs and Box of Moonlight.
My favourite characters are Sam from Moon, Frank from Matchstick Men and Pero from Welcome to Collinwood.
In addition, Sam comes across as a sympathetic, intelligent and funny down-to-earth guy.
